PAW for short! This trail around The Wildflower is about 2.5 miles long and is pet friendly. Starts across from the main Inn and meanders up to Heaven's Bench, down to the Passumpsic River and back!

Located in the heart of the Green Mountains, in Proctor, Vermont sits Vermont's only real castle. Construction on the castle began in 1885 and took 7 1/2 years to complete. The castle was sold multiple times, and has developed quite the history: both normal and otherworldly.
It is believed that both a portal and a vortex exist within the castle, allowing many spirits to pop in for a visit whenever they see fit. Over the years, Wilson Castle has become a hotspot for paranormal activity, and ghost hunters have walked away with evidence of the paranormal.

During Winter, The Wildflower is the perfect place to be for Families and solos alike. With a night-illuminated sledding hill, the fun will never end.

WinterBike is Vermont’s premier Fatbike Festival. Now in its 13th year, the event continues to be the favorite among fatbike enthusiasts. The event is headquartered at Mike's Tiki Bar and hosted on the Kingdom Trails network, boasting over 31 miles of cold-rolled singletrack!
In keeping with tradition, Winterbike will include the usual crowd-pleasing ingredients including a ride, remote aid station, after-party catering by Ranch Camp, and so much more!
According to Vermont's Fish & Wildlife Department, late February and early March are prime time for ice fishing.
With a wide variety of fish and many lakes to choose from, ice fishing is a great way to experience winter. Be sure to grab your license and read up on any ice fishing restrictions before choosing a lake or stream.
Saturday, May 10th, "join fellow cyclists in Lyndon, Vermont as they honor the legacy of Moriah Mo' Wilson. The Moriah Wilson Foundation, in partnership with Kingdom Kids, invites gravel and mountain bikers to celebrate the sport Mo loved... All proceeds from registration fees will benefit Kingdom Kids, a local nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of the children of the Northeast Kingdom."

Half Marathon (13ish miles) - Approximately 3,300' of vert. Expect mixed terrain consisting of dirt roads and private trails over two mountain summits on what we think is the best course in Vermont! The half marathon is not a PR course - It's climby and variable depending on the weather & winter snow melt.

A body of water 8 miles long, 300+ feet deep, and cradled in between two 1,000 foot cliff faces, Lake Willoughby is a sight to behold.
A creation of the last glacial recession, Lake Willoughby is only 20 minutes from The Wildflower. Though its views can be enjoyed from afar.
The Northern Forest Canoe Trail is a 700-mile trail of waterways that runs from New York to Maine, with sections in Vermont, Quebec, and New Hampshire. Whether you're paddling straight through or going section by section, the NFCT is the adventure of a lifetime.
