The Wildflower Inn is nestled alongside Kingdom Trails, one of the top mountain biking destinations in the country. Kids of all ages can enjoy the trails, whether they’re beginners or seasoned riders. For young riders, Burke Bike Park, Wildflower skills park and East Burke pump track offer a variety of kid-friendly terrain, with trails designed for different skill levels. .  Don't miss out on a day of outdoor thrills!

2. Explore Nature with Hiking

Our property is surrounded by scenic trails that are perfect for a family hike. Kids will love exploring the fields and woodlands, spotting wildlife, and taking in the fresh mountain air. Short, easy hikes around the inn allow families to immerse themselves in nature without straying too far.

3. Meet the Animals at Local Farms

While our petting zoo is no longer part of the inn, nearby farms still offer opportunities for kids to meet friendly animals. Vermont Reindeer Farm in nearby Orleans lets kids interact with reindeer and other farm animals. It’s a magical experience, especially around the holidays.

4. Visit the Burke Mountain Academy Ski Area

In the winter months, Burke Mountain Academy offers skiing and snowboarding for families, with lessons available for children. Whether they’re learning to ski for the first time or shredding down the slopes, kids will have a blast in the snow.
